Police are asking the public’s help in finding a man they believed robbed a Temecula bank Monday.
The robbery at Pacific Trust Bank located at 27425 Ynez Road took place around 2:30 p.m., according to Sgt. Jon Wade of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The man suspected in the heist is described as a clean-shaven white male, in his mid to late 40s, with short hair. During the robbery, the suspect was caught on surveillance tape wearing a forest green shirt, khaki pants, white baseball style cap and carrying a black briefcase.
The robber entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money and stating he had a weapon with him, the sergeant reported.
The suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running through the bank’s parking lot; no one inside the bank was injured, the sergeant stated.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Temecula Police Department's Detective Bureau at (951) 696-3000.
