Pacific Trust Bank In Temecula Robbed

The man suspected in the heist is described as a clean-shaven white male, in his mid to late 40s, with short hair.

Police are asking the public’s help in finding a man they believed robbed a Temecula bank Monday.

The robbery at Pacific Trust Bank located at 27425 Ynez Road took place around 2:30 p.m., according to Sgt. Jon Wade of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The man suspected in the heist is described as a clean-shaven white male, in his mid to late 40s, with short hair. During the robbery, the suspect was caught on surveillance tape wearing a forest green shirt, khaki pants, white baseball style cap and carrying a black briefcase.

The robber entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money and stating he had a weapon with him, the sergeant reported.

The suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running through the bank’s parking lot; no one inside the bank was injured, the sergeant stated.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Temecula Police Department's Detective Bureau at (951) 696-3000.

Is that the best picture of him they got?

Someone will recognize him from that for sure O-Really. IF I knew him I would. That is a good shot of him. Unless he lives in Los Angeles or something and no one reads the Patch up there for our area. Unfortunately these businesses, and banks all along the freeway are an easy hit, off the freeway, hit, right back on, and even exchange cars somewhere along the way along with the clothes. Super simple even though retailers want that extra business and visual being close to the freeway, I personally would pass just to avoid being an easy hit.

because they know the "state of the art" cameras these banks use are so clear.

Again - the baseball cap - blocking full view of the facial features from the camera. its to a point that if I enter a bank and see anyone with a cap on, I am immediately suspicious. Such an easy fix too - every bank has security , just ask them to remove the cap! They might panic and run, or they might comply but at least we would get better camera shots of the suspects!

Looks like a Granite Construction unemployed worker trying to get some more funds to support Liberty Quarry

I bank at wells Fargo and the security guard who stands out in front and opens the door always asks people to remove their sunglasses when they enter- guess that's a great rule

Jane: is this guy wearing sunglasses? No, he's wearing a baseball cap.

it is amazing that we can put a camera at the top of our computer monitors that takes a high definition stream through a lense no bigger than the end of a pencil, yet the only photos we see of these suspects is an image from a ceiling kodak brownie so poor that you are lucky to be able to determine if it is a male or female. come on people, if you want to catch these bad guys help us out a little and install some post 2000 technology.

But really good security cameras cost too much.........
Net October 17, 2012 at 10:15 PM
Yeah, these big banks that are ripping everyone off with all the fees and overdraft charges and holding our money for us. Cannot afford better cameras!
