Police Make Cocaine Bust In Temecula Alley

The arrests took place Saturday night in the 27700 block of Jefferson Avenue.

Three people were arrested in Temecula Saturday night on suspicion of cocaine, police are reporting.

The incident was reported at approximately 10 p.m. as officers from the Temecula Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Team were on routine patrol in an alleyway of businesses located in the 27700 block of Jefferson Avenue, according to a report from sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Gaskins.

The officers spotted a vehicle parked in the alley that contained three occupants. Two people were in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, and a third subject was under the influence of a controlled substance, Gaskins alleged in his report. 

The following arrests were made, according to the sergeant’s report:
  • Angelo Manos, 29, of San Diego was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • David Mongillo, 50, of Connecticut was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine.
  • Shelly Tack, 48, of Temecula was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
