How is Hannah? Praying and thinking of you daily sweetie

Richard I appreciate your comment. Everyone has something they are passionate about. Mine is the amount of deaths and serious injuries that happen on our streets. Traffic deaths are preventable. Like all the ones we have almost on a weekly basis where they are serious or a death is involved. If you do not have an issue with drunks or drivers who think they are above the law seriously injuring or killing people on our streets a few times a month that is your perogative....... If your issue, passion, anger, had rather be with me because I am PASSIONATE about it then so be it. I am saddened by these deaths, injuries because someone is ignorant enough, selfish enough to get himself drunk, get some buddies in his truck, racing down a street, plowing through a signal light and nearly killing this young girl who is just starting out in life. If it makes you feel better to call me names, make fun of me, make light of what this jerk had done and the people he has hurt, then go for it. We still do not know if Hannah will have long lasting disabilties, or even his buddies in his truck. I pray constantly for this young girl since this accident as does our entire community and further, for her full recovery. If you want to downplay the entire incident that is your choice, and your choice to insult me because I do NOT. That is why people do drink and drive, they do not think about the consequences or downplay them, they are OK to drive. Thank you Richard, but I feel yes, one person who caused something should feel as the victim does. Otherwise, how would he feel if he was literally run over? My adult children do NOT drink and drive and have never as far as I know because 1st I am home when they got home. 2. I have watched them make sure they trade off on designated drivers. 3. None of them(all girls) drink to the extent of getting THAT drunk except maybe on their 21st birthdays, and that was only 1 of them. Why? Because I have kept news of these wrecks open to them, shown the consequences of drinking and driving, and that I would always pick them up and their friends with no consequences. If that is what you mean about them.?? I do not know if that is what worked, but something did, and I thank God. Now we just have to fear going to the market or to college etc. and getting run over by someone like this unfortunately.

Hannah hope all is well young lady and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Pray that your recovery is moving forward.

Please may we just focus on Hannah, and this terrible tragedy... I know this kid is not going to get a light sentence, but I think positive energy here is better... And I for sure am not down playing anything:(. I live a few houses from rhe corner, heard this accident, the worst I have ever heard, left my house running down the street, watched as the Jaws of life helped get Hannah free, I thank God that Hannah is progressing, please friends..God Bless

Diana, I cannot agree more with you, and appropriately that is how I have conducted myself. Unfortunately there are some who will make a name/acct on Patch for no other reason then to harrass the strongest voice against their "friend", the perpetrator of this crime. Its obvious when their concern is more for that perpetrator then his victims. We cannot forget that this guys own FRIENDS are also victims and were seriously injured and he is facing those felony charges also. I also pray that all of them recover fully and take this as a lesson to never drink and drive or get in the car with someone who has. That was their choice to get in the truck with him, whereas Hannah did NOT have a choice. I was praying for her earlier and hoping that no word means good things in her recovery. I pray she is getting stronger each day as her body heals while wrapped in the arms of her God and the strong prayers of so many out here.
