A woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by a man in a Temecula shopping center Tuesday, has police asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect.
The alleged attack was reported around 4:30 p.m. at a strip mall located at the Rancho California Road/Meadows Parkway intersection.
According to Sgt. Curt Harris of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a 19-year-old woman said she was assaulted by a white male in his early 20s, about 5'10" to 6’ tall, with short, messy, brown hair.
“The suspect attacked the female in the parking lot and sexually assaulted her, but she was not injured,” the sergeant reported. “The victim screamed and the suspect eventually fled from the area on foot.”
