Teen On Bike Sexually Assaults Temecula Jogger, Police Report

The suspect was described as a young male adult or teenager with medium-length, dark-colored unkempt hair, approximately 5'8" in height with a thin build, wearing dark-colored shorts and a blue-colored T-shirt.

A woman who was out for a run in Temecula Monday afternoon is reporting she was sexually assaulted during her workout by a male in his late teens, and now police are searching for the suspect.

The 29-year-old woman alleged she was in the area of Honors and Southern Hills drives when she was sexually assaulted by an unidentified male in his older teens who had been following her on a bicycle, reported Sgt. Curt Harris of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

According to the woman’s report to police, the man “pedaled past her, sexually assaulted her and quickly fled the area,” Harris said.

The woman was not injured and was able to run for help and call the Temecula Police Department, the sergeant continued. Police responded to the call at approximately 1:45 p.m.

“The suspect was described as a young male adult or teenager with medium-length, dark-colored unkempt hair, approximately 5’8” in height with a thin build, wearing dark-colored shorts and a blue-colored T-shirt. The suspect was last seen on a black-colored BMX style bicycle,” Harris said. See attached composite sketch of the suspect.
