Robbery Suspect Sought in Temecula

The unknown suspect is accused of robbing Dairy Queen on Temecula Parkway Wednesday, and attempting to rob three other nearby businesses.

A suspect accused of making off with cash after holding up a Temecula business Wednesday and attempting to rob three other merchants was being sought.

The Temecula Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday at , 31845 Temecula Parkway, according to Temcula police Sgt. K. McDonald.

The initial call was followed by three other robbery calls between 5:31 p.m. and 5:51 p.m. at Scrubs and Beyond, , and Payless Shoes, all also located on Temecula Parkway, McDonald said in a news release.

In all four cases, the same suspect entered the business and demanded money while either telling the victim that he had a gun or simulated having a concealed weapon, McDonald said.

The suspect allegedly obtained an undisclosed amount of money from one business, but was unsuccessful in the three other attempts, according to the sergeant.

The suspect was described as white male about 25 years old, 6 feet tall with a thin build and light brown to dirty blond spiky hair. He was said to be wearing a long sleeve red and blue plaid shirt, blue jeans and dark-colored sunglasses with large, round sunglasses.

He may have been driving a white-colored, older model sedan, as a car with that description was seen leaving the parking lot immediately after the robbery. The car was described as about 10 years old and in poor condition, McDonald said.
