Second B&B Shooting Trial Nears End

Witness testimony finished in the retrial of a man accused of fatally shooting a business associate in his Wine Country B&B.

Louis Joseph DiBernardo, 60, is on trial for the second time. He was tried in December at the in French Valley and found guilty of making criminal threats and kidnapping, but the jury hung on a charge of murder.

Witness testimony finished, according to court records, and attorneys are expected make their closing arguments today or Monday.

The family of the defendant feel optimistic that this time, the jury will vote not guilty.
