UPDATED: Special Needs Student Reported Missing From Elsinore High School

David Allen Soto is described as Hispanic, 6' tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve Laker's hoodie with blue Levi pants and black tennis shoes.

UPDATED AT 8:27 a.m. Nov. 6: Sheriff's deputies are continuing their search today for a special needs student who left Elsinore High School Tuesday morning and has not been seen since. 

"We are still looking for him," Deputy Albert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

David Allen Soto, 18, of Wildomar was last seen at 8 a.m. Tuesday leaving the campus located on Canyon Drive in Wildomar.

Soto is autistic, suffers from schizophrenia, has the mental capacity of a 15-year-old, and takes doctor-ordered medications, according to a police report. 

The teen did not have permission to leave the campus, the report stated.

The area around the school was searched by EHS personnel and police are now combing the area.

Soto is described as Hispanic, 6’ tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve Laker’s hoodie with blue Levi pants and black tennis shoes.
