Suspect Sought in Temecula Bank Robbery

Police are looking for a man who walked away from a bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Temecula Police officials are searching for a man suspected in a bank robbery Thursday at the Provident Bank at 40705 Winchester Road.

According to a Riverside County Sheriff's Department news release, the man -- described as 6-feet and between 185-210 pounds -- walked into the bank about 9:40 a.m. and handed the teller money demanding money. After the teller complied, he left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect, believed to be in his 30s or early 40s, was last seen wearing a white cap with a Hurley brand logo, Hurley-style sunglasses, with a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans and white shoes. He was seen carrying a white and black canvas bag.

No weapon was seen during the robbery, and no employees or customers were harmed during the incident.
