Suspected Serial Robber Arrested

He allegedly robbed a Dairy Queen and tried to rob two other shops during the weekend.

A man suspected of robbing a and trying to rob two other shops was arrested.

Troy David Blake, 49, of Rainbow, was booked on suspicion of armed robbery and attempted armed and jailed in Murrieta in lieu of $25,000 bail, according to sheriff's Sgt. Kevin McDonald said.

The suspect was arrested about 9 p.m. Monday, though police did not say how they tracked him down.

The suspect, who appeared to be holding a handgun in a jacket pocket, demanded cash from a Dairy Queen clerk, took some and fled in red vehicle, sheriff's deputies said.

The same suspect later tried to rob the Angel View Boutique and
Francesca's Italian Kitchen, also on Temecula Parkway, but was thwarted and left empty-handed, sheriff's deputies said.
