Teens Invited to Driver's Safety Class

The free class is being offered by the California Highway Patrol.

Teens and parents were invited to a free driver's safety class.

They are scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 22 and 29 at the Temecula office. For the location, click here.

The class is free, but space is limited. Reservations can be made by calling the CHP office at 951-506-2000.

The class will go over what causes crashes and how to avoid them.

"Testimonies are provided by officers who have investigated fatal collisions involving teens, along with the latest 'Red Asphalt' video, which chronicles the aftermath of several teenage driver collisions," stated CHP Officer Nathan Baer in an emailed announcement.

The classes aim to help new license holders driver more safely, Baer said.
