Temecula Bank Robbed, Suspect Sought
Police say the man who simulated "possession of a weapon" may have been disguised in a wig during the time of the robbery.
A man who robbed a Temecula credit union remained at large Friday.
The robbery occurred around 3:10 p.m. Thursday at a San Diego County Credit Union branch in the 29000 block of Overland Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The suspect approached a teller and demanded money, simulating a pistol underneath his clothes, said sheriff's Sgt. Steve Fredericks.

The teller complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash, at which point the suspect fled the location, escaping on foot before deputies could get there.
The bandit was possibly disguised, wearing what appeared to be a wig, Fredericks said, adding that the man was white and about 6 feet tall.

Surveillance photos of the suspect were not immediately available.
Though authorities say they are "...currently pursing several leads," they asked that anyone with information about this crime to call the sheriff's Temecula station at (951) 696-3000.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
