Temecula CHP Offering Driver Safety Classes To Help Save Teen Lives

The California Highway Patrol is offering no-cost classes that help educate teens about how to stay safe behind the wheel.

Is your teen a new or upcoming driver?

The California Highway Patrol's Temecula Area office is offering no-cost classes that help educate teens about how to stay safe behind the wheel.

The CHP’s Start Smart classes target new and future licensed teenage drivers between the ages of 15-19, and their parents or guardians. Officers discuss traffic collision avoidance techniques, collision causational factors, driver/parent responsibilities, seatbelt usage, and more. Testimonies are provided by officers who have investigated fatal collisions involving teens, along with the latest “Red Asphalt” video that chronicles the aftermath of several teenage driver collisions.
