Repo Man's Assault Leads to Arrest
Jason Diskin, 46, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of assault, police say.
Two men were arrested yesterday for attacking a man trying to repossess a truck in unincorporated Murrieta, police said.
Jason Diskin, 46, of Temecula, and Joshua Brown, 39, of Hemet, are free on bail today after they were booked at the Southwest Detention Center last night on suspicion of carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Department online booking records.
The alleged victim was preparing to tow the truck with his own vehicle when the two suspects attacked him. The victim, who was sitting inside the truck when the attack began, fled back to his vehicle and called 911.
