Temecula Police Announce Plans for Upcoming DUI Checkpoint

Sheriff's deputies plan on keeping an eye out for drunken drivers in two weeks during a sobriety checkpoint in Temecula, a sergeant said Saturday.

Deputies will set up their operation at 9 p.m. June 21 at an undisclosed part of the city. The checkpoint will end at 3 a.m. the next day, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Joe Greco said.

Deputies plan on checking drivers for their licenses and watch for any signs of drunken driving, Greco said.
