Temecula Residents Arrested On Suspicion Of Heroin Use, Child Endangerment

A Temecula couple was arrested Thursday morning in Wildomar on suspicion of endangering their child, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of heroin, according to a sheriff's sergeant.

Alfredo Ortiz, 35, and Monique Ortiz, 36, were picked up in the 21800 block of Silver Run Circle following a 7 a.m. warrant service, said Sgt. Marc Cloutier of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station.

Ginny Deaver, 51, of Wildomar was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of heroin possession for the purpose of sales, being under the influence of heroin and child endangerment, Cloutier said.

"During the investigation officers located evidence that heroin was being sold from the residence," the sergeant said.

All three were booked into the Southwest Detention Center.

Officers from the Southwest Corridor Narcotics Task Force assisted with the warrant service.
