Temecula Woman Jailed For Allegedly Using a Wineglass on a Foe

Sara Baroody, 23, address undisclosed, was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, other than a firearm.

A 23-year-old local woman is facing a court date on an assault charge following a fight at a Temecula party, during which she allegedly struck another woman with a wineglass, after allegedly punching the victim.

Sara Baroody was free Sunday on bond for $25,000 bail, and was ordered back to court in October, according to sheriff's jail records.

Baroody allegedly attacked the other woman at a party in the 30100 block of Del Ray Road shortly about midnight Saturday, according to a Riverside County sheriff's sergeant.

The women became involved in an argument and Baroody allegedly made it physically, first punching the woman and then striking the victim with a glass.

I thought John was being sarcastic; maybe not?

I am only guessing, but I think it is likely alcohol was involved! Alcohol causes so many problems to so many people.

I thought of that also TV, maybe reserve a portion of Dennys? I think it would be a great idea and also help to find out just which people are most concerned with what topics, or issues we have in Temecula. My issue tonight is this: I went to Walmart down on 79 the Saturday night and was going through the little boys department to look for some cheap shorts my grandson can wear outside playing and around the house, stead of wearing his good clothes. Well low and behold my daughter brings to my attention this entire WALL of childrens clothes all IN SPANISH sayings. I WAS APPALLED, embarrassed, and wanted to complain to a Walmart Manager. They were all sayings like "I'm Superman" but IN SPANISH! I still am so angry over it I could scream. I spend, well alot of money in Walmarts for all kinds of things, even some grocery items, and Saturday night was no different, nearly 600.00 bucks. When Spanish people start spending that much money every two weeks or more then fine throw them in a shirt or two, but not a whole fricking WALL. Also as an American when you travel anywhere else they expect you to know enough of their language to get by and will typically make you pull out your english translation book rather then help you in any matter which we know they could.......and this is any country. Cept the Vendors in TJ on the border speak good english and actually all live in SD and Chula Vista, go figure. Illegal or not they make no effort to learn English. RAWR

Why are you angry Brenda? Walmart is engaging in capitalism... You know, the thing we apparently don't have enough of these days (according to half of the posters on this website). America (California in particular) is experiencing a demographic shift. More people speak spanish. These people have money. Walmart wants it. Ipso facto: merchandise in spanish. I don't know why you are taking this whole thing so personally? Do you feel that you are a minority in your own country? Do you feel threatened by the latest wave of American immigration? Well, its been a recurring theme throughout American history and we've managed it pretty well. If you're scared of brown people might I recommend moving to Utah. Also, have you really done much traveling abroad? I've done a fair amount. I've seen about a dozen different countries on multiple continents. Pretty much no matter where you go you're going to find people that speak English. Its the world's common language at this point. Certain countries actually make English a mandatory skill. You seem like a nice well meaning lady, but sometimes you get duped into visceral reactions to non-issues. Take a breath, its all gonna be ok. The children of the current influx of immigrants will all speak English and 20 years from now people will look back and laugh at all of the hysteria... all while keeping an eye on those shifty Sweedes who keep coming over in droves. Stockholm syndrome my A**! They're up to something!!!

the problem is the people, not the alcohol. Take responsibility for your actions and if you cant handle the drink, dont drink it!
