A 23-year-old local woman is facing a court date on an assault charge following a fight at a Temecula party, during which she allegedly struck another woman with a wineglass, after allegedly punching the victim.
Sara Baroody was free Sunday on bond for $25,000 bail, and was ordered back to court in October, according to sheriff's jail records.
Baroody allegedly attacked the other woman at a party in the 30100 block of Del Ray Road shortly about midnight Saturday, according to a Riverside County sheriff's sergeant.
The women became involved in an argument and Baroody allegedly made it physically, first punching the woman and then striking the victim with a glass.
