UPDATE: Three people were hospitalized early today in a vehicle crash caused by a suspected drunk driver, authorities said.

Riverside County sheriff's deputies responded to a 2:33 a.m. report of a crash at Temecula and Pechanga parkways, according to department officials.

Twenty-year-old Robert Miller -- taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence -- was going east on Temecula Parkway when he drove through a red light and triggered the three-car accident, deputies said.

Three people who sustained non-life-threatening injuries were taken to a hospital. A fourth person was treated and released at the scene, sheriff's officials said.
