Crash Hospitalizes Two, One in Critical Condition

The crash on Rancho Vista Road, off Ynez Road, was reported about 8:40 p.m., according to Cal Fire.

A two-vehicle collision in Temecula Thursday injured two people, one of whom had to be extricated, fire officials said.

The crash involving a silver Honda and a red Mustang on Rancho Vista and Ynez roads was reported shortly before 8:40 p.m., according to Cal Fire information officer Jody Hagemann.

The Mustang landed about 300 feet to the north of the intersection on Ynez and ended up on its side with the driver's side against the pavement.

Its driver, a woman, was partially ejected and had to be extricated.

Two people were taken to hospitals, one of them in critical condition, the other with minor injuries, Hagemann said.

According to sheriff's officials, her injuries, though serious, were not life-threatening.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.

So who ran the red light? Sounds like red Mustang lady without the seatbelt ran the light.

Why does it sound that way. What were in indicating factors. Because it was a red Mustang driven by a woman? Just wandering how you were able to decipher this story with very limited information.

Yes, thank you very much M.Lee Davis. I personally know the lady driver of the mustang was in FACT wearing a seatbelt. Thank GOD above that no one else was injured, hurt, or killed...besides the woman being in critical condition losing half a foot a shattered humerous and C1 vertabrae (broken) neck. As she so was told to never run n yet barely recover enough to say if she will ever walk again. I, too, agree that this woman being at fault has deeply n sincerely took all gratitude for being at fault.
