Trio Robs Convenience Store at Gunpoint

The AM/PM on Ynez Road was held up early Sunday morning.

Temecula police are searching for three suspects that held up the AM/PM in the 27000 block of Ynez Road at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

The three suspects entered the store around 4 a.m. and demanded money from the cash register while brandishing a handgun at the employee, according to police. The trio fled with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise. No injuries were reported during the holdup.

According to police, the store clerk described the first black male adult as about six feet tall, wearing red shorts and a black jacket. The second was described as a black male adult, about six feet tall, wearing dark pants and a green jacket. The third suspect was described as a black male adult wearing dark pants and a dark jacket.
