Two Displaced After Temecula Home Damaged by Fire

No one was hurt in the fire on Calle Langarcia Sunday morning.

A predawn fire scorched part of a two-story Temecula home Sunday, a fire department spokeswoman said.

No one was hurt during the blaze, which was called in at 12:41 a.m.

Firefighters found light smoke coming from the garage of the home in the 33200 block of Calle Langarcia, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to a wall between the bathroom and the garage. Two adults and a dog were displaced and planned to stay with a neighbor, Hendrickson said.

Its cause was under investigation.

Thank Goodness everyone is ok and it was contained pretty fast. That is a strange place for a fire to start. 2nd floor between garage and a bathroom can only be wiring I guess, and that is scary.

They are lucky the fire was In Temecula and not Murrieta or they would of had to pay $350 before they could put it out

"Two adults and a dog were displaced and planned to stay with a neighbor," How terribly tragic.... but what about the 15,000 Vietnam veterans who live and sleep on the streets in the cities of the USA.. You know when we invaded Vietnam , in 1965 -1975 and when our politicians talked about our bravest and best. And still do ... Now 35 year later, no one cares, and the bravest and best have no value 'cause they are old and militarily worthless. . All part of that American dream HYPOCRISY RULES AMERICA.. I wish it didn't but it does.

Yes very glad they are ok. I have lost my home in a fire before. And of course there is always a idiot that has to comment something that has nothing to dowith the article it self. But educate urself before u open ur mouth. There are plenty of resource availble for vets young and old to use. Yet they choose not to use them. Maybe they cannot be in the military but they are from from useless.

Dude I never said they were useless , You said that. I said they were "Military worthless" A significant difference. 98% of people who join the US military are young and healthy with medium to low IQ's Vietnam Vets are on average 60 years old. From a WAR where we were the INVADERS ...as usual. Those are the facts Dude.

CC Dude one more thing . I lost my home in the CEDAR Fire in Ramona in 2003. Only thing left standing was the brick chimney. Our black bottom pool was covered in soot and our redwood decks were piles of grey carbon. Been there ...Done that dude. And the corrupt Insurance Co was forced to pay cost of total rebuild. The American Dream... dude. Its all about litigation
