Update: Assault Causes School Lock-down
Lock-down, caused by a nearby assault with a deadly weapon, was lifted at 11:25 a.m.
A lock-down on Alamos Elementary School was lifted today, according to the sheriff's department.
Deputies reported the lockdown at 10:41 a.m. due to an assault with a deadly weapon happening nearby, according to sheriff's Sgt. Angel Ramos.
A man reportedly attacked a woman at 10:02 a.m. on Auld Road near Pourroy Road with a bladed weapon. He ran off, and officers scoured the neighborhood.
"The school was put on lock-down as a precautionary measure," the sergeant said.

He was still on the loose as of publication time, according to Ramos.
The lock-down was lifted at 11:25 a.m., according to officials on the scene.
