UPDATE: Suicide Victim Identified
The man killed himself sitting on the front porch of the Temecula Hotel on Main Street, and authorities are reaching out to his family.
Coroners identified a man who killed himself on a porch in Old Town today.
The man's name is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin, though they know who he is and were tracking down his family hours after his body was found, according to sheriff's Lt. Robert Moquin.

Investigators also determined a purple and black Honda V45 Magna motorcycle belonged to the victim. The motorcycle helmet lay next to the body, which was slumped in a rocking chair in front of the Temecula Hotel on Main Street across from .
The motorcycle was parked in front of the , but was towed away around 6 p.m.
