A Honda slowing to make a turn was rearended by a newer model Honda Accord Saturday, causing minor injuries to the passengers in the first car, a California Highway Patrol sergeant told Patch.

Waiting for the "It's a bad corner, the city/Pechanga should fix it" crowd to arrive here. Meanwhile I'll stick to the pay attention to your surroundings whilst you drive mantra.

I don't think Pechanga can fix this one..Simpson rd. is close to Hemet.

I still don't understand how you cannot see a 3500 lb object stopped directly in front of you...unless you're texting..carelessly yapping on the phone...putting on eyeliner...etc. hopefully nobody seriously hurt. But also hope that woman's insurance goes through the roof to the point she doesn't drive . I can dream can't I ?

The title and first sentence make it sound like these cars were driving themselves. Cars don't hit other cars -- drivers of cars hit other cars and often when the driver is not paying attention.

I agree VOR, she was doing something else other then driving her car.
