Artillery Training to Shake Temecula

The training will take place between 6 a.m. Saturday until noon Sunday.

Artillery training on Camp Pendleton will likely be heard in Temecula this weekend.

Artillery units will be conducting live-fire training into the Zulu and Whiskey impact areas from 6 a.m. Saturday until noon Sunday, the base announced.

Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
