CORRECTION: Quarry Vote Story Published Inadvertently
A story not meant for publication made its way to Temecula Patch. It pertained to a vote on Liberty Quarry, and should be disregarded.
A story appeared Sunday on Temecula Patch that was not meant for publication.
The headline was "Final Vote on Quarry Coming." It was about an upcoming vote for the Liberty Quarry, a mine proposed -- and recently rejected by the county's Planning Commission -- for the hills just south of Temecula.
Due to a technical error, the publication date got moved to Sunday, though it was meant to be published a few days before the hearing that decided the quarry's fate.
