County Officials Talk Extra Lane on Southbound I-215 Bridge in Murrieta

The Riverside County Transportation Commission allocated $1.2 million this week for environmental studies and design for the project, The Press-Enterprise reported.

A third lane on the southbound Interstate 215 bridge in Murrieta that merges traffic with Interstate 15 may be in the works, according to a news report.

The Riverside County Transportation Commission allocated $1.2 million this week for environmental studies and design for the project, The Press-Enterprise reported.

Although in its infancy, the project would complement the City of Temecula's French Valley Interchange, phase 1 of which is nearing completion and adds a westbound off-ramp to Date Street, just north of Winchester Road.
