Gun Association Rates Local Candidates
Three got As, one got a C, and one declined to answer questions.
The California Rifle and Pistol Association released its ratings for the five candidates for the State Assembly's District 67.
Phil Paule, of French Valley, Melissa Melendez, of Lake Elsinore, and Ken Dickson, of Murrieta, earned an "A" rating.
Bob Magee, a Lake Elsinore City Council member, got a C rating, and William Akana declined to answer questions, accoridng to the report.

The association is dedicated to promoting firearm freedoms and shooting sports in the State of California.
"When I am in the legislature, I will fight to regain the constitutional rights of gun owners that the liberals have abused over the past 20 years," Paule said via an emailed announcement.
