, Temecula's county supervisor, is scheduled to answer readers' questions during a live streaming interview at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The supervisor is running for to be reelected to the representing the third district, which includes Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Hemet, San Jacinto and Canyon Lake.

In the plan, the conservative-dominated counties in southern California would break off from Los Angeles County and the northern part of the state and call itself "South California."

Advocates -- mostly owners of large-scale businesses -- support the plan, saying it will allow them to grow and attract more tourists and, consequently, more tax revenue for the county. Some residents fear it will spoil their quiet, rural lifestyle.
