The TVEE located at 43200 Business Park Drive is a resource center and incubator for small businesses, intended to provide business support in order to speed up successful development, according to the City of Temecula.

On May 3, Cal State San Marcos-Temecula will use the TVEE to hold a class titled "Surviving an Active Shooter Incident."

"Fortunately, active shooter incidents don’t happen every day; however, if they do occur we want to be prepared in what to do. Ron Hackenberg, former Chief of Police with 35 years of police experience, will teach you to look at your environment in a new light, whether at work or in any public place. Be prepared to take potentially lifesaving action if the need arises. Awareness and preparation are much more important than physical ability when it comes to survival, and these techniques can be mastered regardless of age or physical condition. Refreshments will be provided," a class description reads.

Click here to register for the class that begins at 11 a.m. Cost is $40 and registration is required. This class will be held again on June 6.
