Letter-Writing Campaign Fights Quarry

Activists are asking those who oppose the quarry to send letters to the governor.

Anti-quarry activists kicked off a letter-writing campaign to block a quarry planned near Temecula.

Peter Terezakis, a quarry opponent, sent out an email blast asking quarry opponents to sign a letter to Governor Jerry Brown.

The letter urges the governor to approve Assembly Bill 742, which would make mining illegal near Native American sacred places.
