Plan Could Let Public Use School Tennis Courts

Seven schools would open their tennis courts for public use if the deal is approved.

A deal is in the works to let the public use tennis courts at seven Temecula schools.

The city plans to analyze the cost of maintenance before making a decision, said Aaron Adams, the director of the Community Services Department.

The deal was already approved by the and needs only the City Council's stamp of approval, according to city documents.

The city will have to take over some of the maintenance costs. The courts will be open to residents in the evenings and during the weekends, according to the Californian.
