The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a City of Temecula City Council Candidates Forum Oct. 2 at the Civic Center Council Chambers.
The televised forum begins at 6 p.m. and can be viewed live on Time Warner Cable Channel 3 and Verizon FiOS TV Channel 3.
Temecula City Council candidates are vying for two seats currently held by Mayor Chuck Washington and Mayor Pro Tem Mike Naggar. Both men are running for re-election to the council. The other four candidates include Paul Jacobs, Patrice Lynes, Jamie White and Walter Wilson.
All candidates have RSVP'd to attend the event, confirmed Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce President Alice Sullivan.
Southwest Healthcare System Director of Marketing Brian Connors will moderate Tuesday's forum. Connors is also a Chamber board member.
“The businesses and community are welcome to attend and acquaint themselves with each candidate and their platforms,” a statement from the Chamber read.
