Temecula Mayor Honored As 'Champion Of The Community'

Temecula Mayor Mike Naggar will be recognized for support he has given to parks and recreation in the community.

Temecula Mayor Mike Naggar is being honored by the California Park & Recreation Society as a 2012 Champion of the Community, it has been announced.

City staff received news of the award Friday in an email from CPRS Executive Director Jane H. Adams.

“It is an honor to recognize Mayor Naggar for the support he has given to parks and recreation in your community,” Adams wrote.

CPRS will recognize Naggar during its Annual Awards Banquet on March 8 at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.

Founded in 1946, CPRS is a member-based nonprofit, professional and public interest organization focused on creating community.
