Waldron Wins Two Endorsements

San Diego and Riverside Republican parties endorsed the Escondido woman to be Temecula's next representative for State Assembly.


An Escondido woman won two more endorsements to be Temecula's next representative on the state assembly.

The Republican Party of Riverside and San Diego counties both officially endorsed Marie Waldron last week for the newly created , according to Stephen Puetz, Waldron's spokesperson.

About a quarter of the district's residents live in Temecula and surrounding unincorporated areas. It also includes Escondido, San Marcos, Valley Center and Fallbrook.

“We’re proud to support Marie – we know she’ll make a fine Assemblywoman,” added Randon Lane, Chairman of the Republican Party of Riverside County and a Murrieta City Council member.  “As a businesses owner and local elected official we know that she’ll be an effective advocate for Riverside businesses and families and we appreciate her support of local control.”

“We are very excited that Marie is well positioned to be elected to the Assembly in November,” said Tony Krvaric, Chairman of the Republican Party of San Diego County, via an emailed announcement. “She has a long history of fighting for reform in Escondido, and has been a good friend to Republican candidates and causes over many years.”
