California Baptist University to Hold Temecula Information Session

California Baptist University will present information about its Online and Professional Studies on May 16 at Temecula Promenade.

TEMECULA—On Thursday, May 16, California Baptist University’s Online and Professional Studies will host an on-site information session, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the California Baptist University Online & Professional Studies Temecula Educational Service Center located in the Promenade: 40764 Winchester Road, suite 590. Temecula, CA 92591.

This event will entail information about admissions requirements, application process and deadlines and prerequisite coursework.

Online and Professional Studies offers over 25 Bachelor Degree programs and nine Master Degree programs along with certificate and professional development courses. Among courses discussed will be the newly added online Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Digital Media program, Bachelor of Science in Marketing and the Master of Arts in Public Relations.

The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Digital Media online degree program from California Baptist University positions students for career entry and mobility in the arenas of graphic design, web design, and video and animation fields.

The Graphic Design program at CBU/online equips students with a skill-set and an understanding of the influences, principals and technologies in today’s evolving design market. Students will learn current technologies, and work on hand-skills, drawing, compositing, sketching, and finally portfolio presentation. Coursework in typography, communication, idea, and color, will mix with concepts of social awareness and cultural context. The discovery of the student’s own voice and purpose is the underlying goal of the program.

The implementation of classes offered in an online format is designed with the working adult in mind ready for a career change or career advancement.

The Bachelor of Science in Marketing

CBU’s Online & Professional Studies Bachelor of Science in Marketing major is ideal for students who are interested in figuring out how consumers think, what they want, and how to bring products to market that satisfy consumer needs and wants. Individuals who are creative problem solvers and are able to persuasively communicate their ideas will enjoy the broad field of marketing. Majoring in marketing lays a solid foundation for students considering or furthering careers in sales, advertising, event promotions, or marketing research.

The Master of Arts in Public Relations

The demand for highly skilled, master’s level public relations practitioners, communications directors and effective leaders who possess superb communications skills and the education to inform and guide their efforts continues to grow. These employees get invited to the boardroom table, providing strategic planning, reputation management, and positioning, branding and long-term marketing communications/public relations.

The Master of Arts in Public Relations program prepares students to become public relations practitioners who are tech savvy and well educated in not only public relations, but also business and communication theories.
