than 7,000 people attended the 2012 Temecula Valley College & Vocational
Expo at The Promenade mall, and this year could be even bigger.
The 2013 event takes place again at Temecula Promenade, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Nearly 170 colleges turned out in 2012. During Tuesday night’s Temecula City Council meeting, City Manager Aaron Adams said last year's one-day event was so well attended it pushed sales up at the mall, resulting in a 23 percent increase in sales tax revenue for the city.
This year could be even bigger. The fair offers a chance for students and parents to sit down with college representatives before admissions deadlines set in.
