I think it's a great idea....when I went to Elementary School, it went up to 6th grade. I think 6th graders are too young to young to put into middle School....

I think it is a fantastic idea and do not know why it has taken the district so long to act on something that has been discussed for ages! I only wish that this was being offered at more elementary schools (namely mine ;D ), but am hopeful this will catch on. I think having 6th graders at a middle school make them grow up too quickly. I mean honestly, how many of us parents went to elementary schools that went through 6th grade. I know I did.

I am thrilled that this program has finally gone through; my son is also the lucky one as he will be part of the very first class of 6th graders at Paloma Elementary. To have two of the finest teachers teaching, along with a smaller campus, and to be at a place where everyone knows your name, is to be in school heaven!
