Preschoolers Hold Pajama Drive In Temecula

Preschoolers at Discovery Isle Child Development Center in Temecula wore pajamas to school Thursday, Dec. 12, to celebrate the culmination of their pajama drive for children living in foster care.

"This is the fourth year Discovery Isle participated in the national drive, which is sponsored by Scholastic Book Clubs and the Pajama Program. Each Christmas, Scholastic Book Clubs matches a pair of new pajamas with a book donation to the Pajama Program. Pajamas and books are then distributed by the Pajama Program’s National Headquarters to children in need throughout the country," according to a news release from Discovery Isle.

This year, Discovery Isle donated more than 50 sets of pajamas.
