Second Principal Appointed for Great Oak High School

Marc Horton has been appointed to serve as co-principal of Temecula's Great Oak High School.

When the 2013-2014 school year begins at Great Oak High School, there will be two principals.

The school board of the Temecula Valley Unified School District approved the appointment of Marc Horton as principal, The Press-Enterprise reported.

Horton will serve alongside Keith Moore. The two will split duties in their service to the campus that has an approximate enrollment of 3,600 students, the newspaper reported.

Horton comes from Red Hawk Elementary School, where he served as principal.

Chaparral High School has used the dual-principal model for two years now, the newspaper pointed out.
