The Temecula Valley Unified School District is allowing parents and other residents to review college course materials proposed for two of the district's high schools.
The courses -- Math 105 and Math 110 -- are being offered at Temecula Valley and Chaparral high schools, according to district spokesperson Melanie Norton.
The titles are: College Algebra by: Gustafson and Hughes and Pre-calculus: A Problems-Oriented Approach by: Cohen.
The materials will be accessible for a two-week period from Nov. 5 to Nov. 19.
The materials will be on display in the front lobby of the District Administration Center, 31350 Rancho Vista Road; the District Office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Interested community members are invited to review the books and provide their comments on an Instructional Materials Review form, which will be available at the viewing table. Completed forms will be reviewed as part of the textbook adoption process.
