Temecula has a chance Saturday to make the holidays a bit brighter for its less fortunate.
The Temecula Valley Unified School District's Transportation Department is holding its second annual "Stuff the Bus" canned food and toy drive.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, transportation employees will stage school buses at two locations in order to collect canned foods for local food pantries and toys for a Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive.
The community is invited to drop off donations at Vons' shopping centers at 38995 Sky Canyon Drive in Murrieta, at the corner of Winchester and Murrieta Hot Springs Road, or 29530 Rancho California Road in Temecula, at the corner of Rancho California and Ynez roads.
