TVUSD Teacher’s Aide Returning To Work Following Plea Deal

A child endangerment charge, stemming from a February 2012 incident in which the 12-year-old daughter of Tracy Lynn Betts was found wandering naked through a Temecula neighborhood, has been dismissed.

A Temecula Valley Unified School District aide charged with misdemeanor child endangerment has reached a plea deal and is expected to return to work, The Press-Enterprise is reporting.

Murrieta resident Tracy Lynn Betts, 42, pleaded guilty July 8 to disturbing the peace and, as a result, the child endangerment charge was dismissed, according to The Press-Enterprise report.

The child endangerment charge was filed after her 12-year-old daughter was found wandering naked through a Temecula neighborhood in February 2012.

A TVUSD official said Betts had been on voluntary leave from her district job but is expected to return to work in this upcoming school year that starts next month, The Press-Enterprise reported.
