Spring youth inline hockey season on tap      

Assessments set for March 3 & 10

Get ready to strap on those skates and fly across the rink! The Temecula Valley Inline Hockey Association has launched registration for its upcoming spring youth season, which begins in late March and runs through early June.

Sign-ups are available online at www.tviha.com.

All players who register for the spring season must attend a player assessment either on March 3 or March 10 at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park rink. Those aged 8 and under assess at 9 a.m.; 10 and under at 10 a.m.; 12 and under at 11 a.m.; and those 16 and under assess at noon at the rink, 30875 Rancho Vista Road.

Additionally on those two sign-up days, TVIHA will offer a free new-player clinic at 8 a.m. to welcome athletes and offer some tips.

TVIHA is a nonprofit which offers a recreational, co-ed league for players 5-17 years old. All skill levels may participate, and the organization promotes skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship. All players will receive a team jersey and trophies will be awarded to all players at the end of the season.
