Linfield Christian Football Ready For Capo Valley

It was a loss last week at home for Temecula's Linfield Christian Lions, but hopes are high that Friday the home team will defeat Capo Valley Christian.

Game time for the varsity boys is 7:30 p.m. at Linfield's Fox Field.

The home crowd may be cheering a little louder this week. During the Sept. 12 game against St. Margaret's, head coach Dechon Burns took a beating. Not only did his Lions lose, his son Lorenzo, who plays for him, suffered a broken ankle during the third quarter. The injury has sidelined the sophomore for the season.
