Roy Patterson Wins Medal Play Masters at Red Hawk Golf Club

Medal Play Masters golf tour attracts local professionals, amateurs alike as they play at a tour stop in Temecula.

Rain stayed away just long enough Sunday for the golfers in The Medal Play Tournament to post some great scores under near-perfect conditions at Red Hawk Golf Club in Temecula.

“The conditions were perfect for scoring today,” said tour director Blane Freytag. “The tees were moved up most of the day and players took advantage.”

Roy Patterson took a steady day to post a net 70 and the victory in the Championship Division. Matt Seto, playing in his first event, posted even par net 72 for 2nd with Mitchell McCaughan 3rd with a net 74.
