Sunbelt vs. Southwestern League All-Star Game Friday at the Diamond
Standout high school baseball players from Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Temecula meet to showcase their talents Friday night.
All-stars from the Sunbelt and Southwestern Leagues -- which includes high schools in Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Temecula – will be going head-to-head Friday night at the Diamond in Lake Elsinore.
The game will be played on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Diamond, according to Storm Events officials. The teams will be made up of the First Team All-League selections from each league.
In addition to the all-stars from the Sunbelt and Southwestern Leagues, one selection from each private high school in the area will participate. Gates will open at 2:30 p.m. so fans can watch each team take batting practice on the field.
