The tournament started with 10 teams and to place in the top two is AMAZING!  Temecula Blue worked very hard throughout District, Section, and Region Tournaments.

TYB Machine Pitch Pinto Blue placed 2nd at District, losing only to Murrieta Orange, which set them up for Section in Redlands.  The boys battled in Section and came out as the undefeated champions earning a trip to Regions in Moreno Valley.

The Region bracket was stacked with great teams and again Temecula Blue battled.  Their first game was lost against Murrieta Black and the second game was against Murrieta Orange, the same team they lost the championship to in Districts.  Blue came out with a pivotal win against Murrieta Orange, beating them 16-6!

Riding the wave, Temecula Blue then beat the host team, Moreno Valley, 15-5.  The next game was a nail biter against our Temecula Red.  At the top of the 6th inning, the score was 13-12, Red.  Temecula Blue came out with a decisive victory that earned them a trip to the World Series.  Blue beat Red 18-16, which put them in the championship game against Murrieta Black.  Blue placed 2nd overall.

In total, Temecula Blue has gone 10-4 and are proud to represent Temecula at the 2014 Pony West Zone World Series in San Marcos starting this Friday, July 18th.  Way to go Temecula Blue!!
