Riverside County Children Welcome at Critter Kiddz Camp

The camp is held by Riverside County Animal Services.

Kids who love animals and want something fun to do this summer are in luck: a few spots are still open for Riverside County Animal Services’ Critter Kiddz Camp.

Two camps will be held for kids six to 11. Week 1 starts Monday, July 16 and runs through Friday, July 20, with the theme “Animal Adventures.” Week 2, “Animal Detectives,” begins the following week, Monday July 23 through Friday, July 27. Camp will start at 9 a.m. and end at noon at the Western Riverside County/City Animal Shelter, 6851 Van Buren Blvd., Jurupa Valley.

The kids will meet bunnies, reptiles, a llama, and the pets looking for homes at the shelter. They’ll also learn how to train dogs and appreciate and respect pets.
