Sept 11 th memories

I remember being woken from a sound sleep by a friend. She told me to turn on the tv, "we are being attacked!" By the time I turned it on, both towers were burning. I was stunned and yelled to my husband, who was in the shower, to tell him what was going on. Moments later i witnessed on live tv the unbelievable site of the first tower falling, yelling again to my husband, "It's falling!" Thoughts of our three little children came to mind. Do I wake them and get them ready for school or keep the home safe with me? We sent them to school having faith that all will be ok. My day was filled with watching reports of what happened that day and calling the airline to cancel our flight to Utah that Friday. It was all so very surreal.
